The Woman Behind the Work

Sangeeta Biswas grew up believing that inspiration is everywhere — you just need to open your eyes and breathe it in. That belief became the foundation of Anusangi Collections, a handmade jewelry brand born out of Mumbai's vibrant spirit and rooted in the rich traditions of Indian craft.

As a jewelry designer based in the Vasai-Virar area, Sangeeta has spent years honing her craft — learning the language of clay, the rhythm of beads, and the quiet patience that handmade work demands. What started as a personal passion grew into a calling: to create jewelry that feels as meaningful as it looks.

Every piece in the Anusangi Collections is handcrafted from scratch. Sangeeta works primarily with terracotta and natural clay — earthy, timeless materials that carry a warmth no machine can replicate. Each earring, pendant, and adornment is shaped, painted, and finished entirely by hand, making every piece one of a kind.

The process is slow and intentional. Clay is kneaded and molded. Beads are strung with care. Colors are chosen to reflect the vibrancy of Indian culture — bold, joyful, and deeply rooted in tradition. From terracotta jhumkas to delicate beaded earrings, each design is a small celebration of heritage and handcraft.
